Karin Pespisa, M.B.A., APR
President
Karin Pespisa is president of trendPR®, a Boston-area PR and marketing
services firm founded in 2004. trendPR’s strategic communications
programs have built brand awareness and thought leadership for clients
including Design Continuum, InteQ, PediSedate, Proteus Design, ReBrand™,
and the Crayon Evangelist®.
Previously, Karin built the marketing team at technology start-up InteQ
where she was responsible for marketing, PR, branding, events and Web presence.
In addition, she strategically launched InteQ as the first in a new industry,
securing a leadership position as 100 competitors entered the space.
Earlier, she publicized high-tech leaders including IBM, Lotus Development,
NewsEdge and many new ventures while at two PR agencies: Clarke & Company
and Lois Paul & Partners, a Fleishman-Hillard company.
In 2004, the Public Relations Society of America selected Karin for APR
accreditation—making her one of only 4,300 accredited PR professionals
in the country. She presents at conferences including Media Relations
2006, Success by Design 2005 and has presented at the Association of
Professional
Design Firms. Karin earned an M.B.A. in Marketing from Clark University
and a B.S. in Public Relations from Salem State College.
